Someone reported a bug this afternoon on level 2-4, uploading a fix for it now. It's so nice to be able to upload a build and have it go live instantly.
@jonmulcahy I really appreciate u sharing ur valuable knowledge to us.. perhaps you can create a video to help export our games to stream that will be so great as it is my dream to launch games there!! @CodeWizard if you could integrate this in GS that will be so koool...
I finally found some spare time! What a lovely little game, great atmosphere, good difficulty curve so far (I'm only near the end of 2-x) and I really like the overall feel of the game.
At the end of 2-4 my window turned white and stayed that way, had to restart. Don't know if that's the bug you've mentioned earlier (my game is updated). And my game crashes if I try to switch to fullscreen (alt+enter) but I have no idea if that's something you could do anything about.

Thank you very much!
Strange about that 2-4 bug. After the restart it worked again? In testing it worked ok for me, but I'll take another look.
I'm using NW.JS to wrap the game, so fullscreen should work, but I wonder if the shortcut messes it up. What OS are you running? I'll take a look
After restarting I jumped right to 2-5, that worked perfectly fine. I'll complete 2-4 a second time in a few minutes and let you know.
I'm playing the game under windows 7.
Edit: holy bird poop, it took me like 7 tries to finish 2-4 a second time, dunno what's wrong with me, last time it was first try.
The screen staying white happens every time i finish the level. Another thing i encountered while testing is that my game freezes when I try to get back to the menu from level 2-4 or 2-5 (esc -> menu) Music continues to run, even the loading wheel continues to turn if it's there but everything else stops moving and stays that way. Levels like 1-x or 2-1 work fine.
Edit2: The screen staying white is now happening in every level from 2-4 forward for me.
Edit3: Something interesting I found: every transition from 2-4 to 2-8 stayed white and using esc -> menu in these levels froze the game. However 2-8 to 2-9 works fine and leaving 2-8 works too.
very strange, 2-4 and 2-8 has something very strange going on. In the HTML5 log I can see it getting stuck in some endless loop. Trying to figure out what exactly is different in those levels.
I think i have it figured out, something to do with the custom collision shapes on the asteroid fields. If I change it to rectangular it works, but if they are custom they go crazy during a scene change.
ok, publishing a fix right now. It looks like the problem is the custom collision shapes on my asteroid fields. I don't know if it's a particular one or all of them, the only way to test this is to publish a game, download it, and build it into an HTML5 package.... so it's very slow.
I'm pushing an update which goes back to the old method, which is OK, just not what I wanted. I'll spend some time figuring out if I can narrow it down at all.
Made it through the long weekend. I ended up pushing 4 updates to the game, all of which went live immediately. So much better than the week it used to take with Apple. Working on update 5 right now to fix an issue that someone discovered in level 10-3.
If anyone else puts a game on steam, make sure you are available those first few days, that's when people will be most likely to submit bug reports, and responding quick is the best way to keep everyone happy.
For any of you who bought the game, I'd appreciate a review if you have a moment
Well done on getting this Greenlit @jonmulcahy! ...and on a side-note... ...I tried that Web2Exe - it seems to work a treat, runs great, BUT, on the first scene change (pressing START on my title screen, to go into the game), it just hangs - loading image just spins around - tried a few options to rebuild using the tool, but nope, still no joy...
Did you have similar experiences please mate? - and if so, was it something simple please? any advice greatly appreciated, as I'm excited about this!

Sales are going well, nothing earth shattering but better than I expected for the type of game it is.
I submitted for green light back in october and was approved end of march.
Yes, I paid the $100 fee
