Any intel on Windows Publishing in the future?

I believe that Windows is one of the largest gaming platforms in the world and I find it strange that Gamesalad doesn't support windows publishing yet. The creation of .exe files would be a remarkably significant addition to Gamesalad's abilities. Does anyone have any intel on possible Windows publishing in the near future?

Since it hasn't been added in all these years, I'm going to guess it will not be added anytime soon. But this is just a guess.

P.S. Well that isn't a .exe file, but it might help. I needed a .exe file to publish to Steam, so I just went and hired GSHelper.com to do it for me.
