It's been over a year...

I tried out Gamesalad last year to find the UI was next to impossible to work with, confusing and not very intuitive. I am wondering what improvements may have come along in the last year? Thanks! I love the idea of GS just waiting for it to be more design friendly.

Since this is in the Macintosh forum, I suppose you mean the Mac version? If so there have been no real changes to the UI.

Did they update the Windows UI? I do have both systems just my laptop is a Mac
I don't think so. Much of their time and energy has been spent on a Web version of the tool that runs in browser.

@buijon yah, we've been concentrating on the new HTML5 creator and bug fixes for the native game engines / players.
Check it out the new Creator here: https://creator.gamesalad.com if you're interested. It's still not fully ready yet. It originally launched with just enough features to enable students to work through our curriculum, but we just pushed an update this weekend that brings it much closer to feature parity with the native tool. There's still a lot to do (improve input layout and color scheme, build a stand alone version that lets you run this on the desktop,
etc), but hopefully you'll like the direction we're heading.
