Make a rectangle round from the sides

as you can see in the picture the sides of my rectangle appear. I want to make the sides round

It's unclear to me what you're wanting based on your description and that image. Can you explain a bit more? I see a black rectangle, a white rectangle, and a red and black rounded rectangle. Which one do you mean? And what do you mean by "sides round"? Do you want the corners rounded?
