It sure did and he'd say, " Thank you my boy, another nice one for my collection."

I did the same thing with my father by finding his newest looking pair of black socks and stapling them together with a piece of tinsel and a bauble! "Thanks son, you can never have too many pairs of socks."

Now I know why they gave me extra pocket money before Christmas because they hoped they'd eventually get something new from me.
