Very good read! Unfortunately in today's society some people don't have common sense which warrants in-game tutorials. But there are a lot of good points. Thanks!
Yeah there is a lot of talk in there about tutorials for sure. They can be good and bad in my opinion, it depends on how they are used in each game.

You have to remember that mobile games reach a vastly, vastly larger audience than games used to in the "old days". The common denominator has got lower. There's nothing wrong with making a game harder, but there's nothing wrong with making it easy enough to be more widely accessible. I think games like Cut The Rope get it just right. Make the game moderately hard so it poses an enjoyable challenge, but also offer ways player can move on, either by paying or showing a little patience.
