Keystore error

Can anyone help - I'm trying to update my app and keystore not accepting my password (i know its the correct one)
and now I've tried to create a new one but it won't let me change the release key or alias name - it keeps coming up with errors when i hit enter 
please help

Are you using Mac or Windows Creator? Is your keyboard language set to something other than English?

re-installing SDK, JDK checking via terminal. Letting another game salad user sign it which worked for him with the same password) but not anymore accept on my machine

seems to happen intermittently have been updating a few apps and had this problem. give it a while and try again.
