Greetings everyone
If i am using free version of Gamesalad, can i still upload it to appstore and earn revenue from in-game ads ?

No. When you upload to the app store, GameSalad insert ads that subsidise the free version of the creator.
In order to insert your own ads, you need to buy a Pro license.
