Do I Install Android Studio for Fire Tv publishing on a Mac Book Pro?

Hi, do I install Android studio for Mac? I am beginning the process of developing my current App Sleepy Cube for the Amazon Fire TV. I have installed Android Studio for Mac and just want to insure that I am taking the right steps.

It's taking a long time to load in the terminal though.
