Having Xcode issues yet again

My version of xcode is 3.1.4 and iphone software is verison 3.1.3 and xcode won't recognize it in the organizer, the green light is blanked out

Am I supposed to be using a different iphone os version or xcode?

Any help appreciated!

Try using Xcode 3.2 it supports 3.1.3
