What is the best software to design game graphics?

I use adobe illustrator but i don´t know if there is other software powerful for design games in 2d.

    I tend to use illustrator for the artwork and have just started using spine for animation...

    I'm having a problem matching the frame rate from spine in GS. I have a run animation that looks a lot slower once I export and put it in GS. Do you have any suggestions?

    I exported the sequence at 30fps just like the playback. I have it at 30 in GS too. Am i missing something?
