Anyone else notice it yet? The categories are much more elaborate now. I think it's for the better. It looks like they are trying to make more apps visable yeah? What do you guys think?
Ok, after looking at it for a while here's the scoop. They have for each category... 1) In the spotlight which is 3 featured games at the top. I noticed Quake Builder was featured. 2) What's Hot where I noticed Star Daze, Tumble Blocks HD, and Gendai's very own Johnny Constellation. 3)Then they have a list of games by date or at least it's supposed to be. It actually just looks random and I don't know what the hell is going on with that list. Not sure if they are going to change it much over the next couple weeks but this looks like a good start Now, for the device appstores...
This is lush and hopefully it does help with exposure and getting noticed more. I just prey it transfers over to devices as i know personally i hardly ever look on the computer, its always from my device. Under catergory action > spotlight > 1st page - i've noticed lots of our community games;
Quake Builder Stunt Alien Doodle Galaxies Poodle Invasion Graviti Drop Zone Goro's Way COD Lite (my game, could have featured the paid version, lol) Tumble Blocks Lite
This is the UK store, sorry if i missed anyone's game!
actually that was the US store. The annoying thing about this, navigate to say page 3, look at a game, press back, it takes you back to the 1st page! Hope they sort that
found Quake Builder in the spotlight in arcade and (had to click see all and it was number 7 on the list), but saw a link to it right at the top in the new spotlight section under the 'Puzzle' category.
Like others have said, I still only ever really search and buy apps through the phone, but any advertising no matter how short lived has got to be a good thing.
I like it but im trying to figure it out. If anything they made things even more ambiguous and harder to figure out. Plenty of exposure for everyone still. Just more confusing.
If I can't figure it out how are some of the people that can't even read big words like "not a game. Sounds only"

It is great for progress if its in iTunes but it will really make the difference when this shows up on the actual iPad itself!
Thanks for filling us in!
Cheers, Weswog
I noticed my app "fish preschool adventures" is featured under iPad's spotlight!
Very cool I like how they did this and it gives more developers an opportunity to be featured
Quake Builder
Stunt Alien
Doodle Galaxies
Poodle Invasion
Graviti
Drop Zone
Goro's Way
COD Lite (my game, could have featured the paid version, lol)
Tumble Blocks Lite

Hopefully this will generate in more sales
Its very ADD as of now.
Gonna see if I can find my game 'Quake Builder' up there.
Currently busy trying to sell/buy/move house, so that mixed with waiting for the next GS update, I've not done much GameSalading....
cheers for posting the info... fingers crossed we will see a bit of a jump in promotion....
