Scroll Image Size

I want to scroll a image with text on it, every time I do it the image text comes out blurry , does anyone know what the max size should be before it gets blurry?

Your graphics must all have even dimensions or they will blur.
i.e 64x456 instead os 65x456

Graphics cannot be larger than 1024 in any dimension.
