GameSalad and 3D Depth Maps

Hello, I was curious as to if GameSalad will ever support depth maps or displacement maps. I was hoping they would. A great use of these would be Leo's Fortune. There pre-rendered images with a depth map applied to it to give it... well... depth. I feel this would be a GREAT accessory to GameSalad. Also, how long would it take to implement something like that? Thanks for your time!

Is that the same as parallax ? Can you not do multiple layers using that ?

@Thunder_Child Yes but the results aren't as good looking as using the depth map. Take a look at the ground (grass/rocks) in this video:

You can see there there's a little depth/parallax in the grounds.
Wow. Never seen that game. That looks really great.

Displacement maps is a 3d thing, it may have been used in that game to make the graphics, but not for the gameplay. So, nothing in there which you can't do in GS right now.

No reason you couldn't use 3d renders as 2d images in GS. Or achieve a similar effect with matte painting. they also just pre-blur foreground or background for depth of field effect (photoshop should have no problems with this). Cut em up and parallax, voila!
