Sound issues on new kindle devices

Hi is anyone else having sound distortion on the new amazon HDX devices?
Is this a known issue?

    For more info,
    details from amazon:

    Issue 1:

    Description : Application background music distorts and is not smooth when (objects with sound) are selected in game.

    Reproducibility : 5/5
    Devices : Fire hdx 8.9, Fire hdx 7

    Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Install and Launch the application
    2. Tap on “play”
    3. Select any Level
    4. Play and tap on (object with sound) and observe

    Actual Result : Backgroung music is distorted and not clear.

    Expected Result : Application music should not be distorted and should be clearly audiable.

    I've asked before but still have no answer on this problem too.
    Does anyone know if this issue been solved in the Nightlies or Release Candidates yet?

    I've just spent an hour searching the forum and reading release notes etc. and I can't seem to find any reference to it being fixed anywhere.

    I am having the same issue with my app on my HDX - would love a solution so I can release on this platform asap.

    Im getting previously accepted games/apps that i have recently updated, rejected due to sound distortion, where I havnt even modified the sound components. I think they've got a dodgy kindle in the test office...
