The gamesalad "size" is always out but not normally that much? However, I used www.tinypng.com recently and was amazed how much it reduced png file sizes. Im told it still loads the same in the device so uses the same RAM but it does reduce the file size of your project in both GS and iTunes.
also fishbowl your user name isn't tag friendly as it contains a full stop. This means no one can tag you and you won't receive notifications if your name is mentioned on the forums. Maybe best to just drop the full stop. Notifications come in handy most of the times.
