How do I test my game out for iphone?

in iPhone and Android Publishing
Okay so I made my first iphone "game" and I don't know how to test it. In GameSalad, i hit play but it doesn't let me play the game it just shows the backround. I dont want to publish it yet because 1: it isn't done 2: I didn't learn how yet and 3: I might not publish it anyways. So if you know how I can test the game, please tell me. Thanks :D

    Uh, if it shows black when you try to test it. Then, maybe your on the wrong scene?
