Question about Resolution independence

in Working with GS (PC)
I'm revisiting and old game I didn't finsish, that I made in the iphone landscape, but I'm not sure if I click on the resolution independence. Is there anyway to find out if I use the resolution independence, with out uploading to a ipad.
