Question about the ram on IOS

Hello.
I have a question, or a pb, i don't know :).
As i'm new, i try very simple projects for the moment, to know how works GS.
I created a unique scene, with some instances of 2 actors in tiles, each 64X64.
No code, no physic, nothing, just 2 repeated tiles.
When i try it on my ipad or my ipod, i have 60 fps, but more than 50 mb of ram usage.
I read in the forum that the engine is suppose to take around 10-12 mb.
Maybe i'm missing something, maybe there is a bug (?), or is it normal that a "simple" project already takes so much memory ?

    Are you using the viewer? If so then you have to take into account the viewer engine.

    No i'm seeing it adhock, on my devices, within Xcode (i followed your great video and advices to see it)

    Well, i think there's a bug or something.
    I redone my app online, and tried it again : the ram was 30 something, but all the tiles were white !
    I reload it just after, without quitting instrument (just pressing again record), and the color were back, and the 53 mb of use of ram too.
    Strange.

    Yeah these issues will be fixed in the 10.2c fixes to the publishing system that are supposed to be out this week.

    Ok, to finish on that point :) : i used the new version of GS (10.3) released yesterday, and no more white sprite pbs at all. Thanks to the team !
    For the MB, as i'm on the free version, closing the add makes win now around 30 mb, good little thing to know, cause before it was not making win ram at all.
    So for my little project, at the end, and free of ads, i'm now at 16 MB, thanks !

    I wouldn't worry about memory usage even at like 150mb 0r 160mb a device can hangle upwards of 175 to 190mb.

    Thanks, good to know !
    In fact, I wanted to know what is more or less the use of ram of the engine itself, cause i think it's good to know the real use of ram of my 1st level (that i will really start now) before doing the other ones.
    I will keep your advice in mind :)
