Nope... it just doesn't work. Moreover all GS apps that I installed from Google Play also had low res icons. That can't be coincidence. (tested on Nexus 7 and Sony Xperia P).
Downloaded both from Google Play and the icons are low res on Nexus 7... and crash just after run.
yea i have to rebuild them to pickup the nexus fix. they've been out for awhile. the icons are high res on kindle fire. maybe it has to do with how amazon reads the icons.
@jonmulcahy@DanielDoe@CodeWizard I would love a fix for high res Android icons. In my experience it seems that on the 'new' high resolution Android devices e.g. 1080 * 1920 GameSalad built apps have the 'standard' resolution icons. I think it's a ppi issue, as when view on a Sony Xperia with pixel density of 441 ppi, the icon does look blurred. Its hard to tell in the attached screenshot but Cutie Monsters is blurred on the Xperia Z, all the other app icons are very sharp. Would it be a relatively easy fix for the web publishing component of GameSalad?

best thing to do is submit a feature request via the bug report. that way it's logged and added to the list. i know they have a weekly meeting or so and go over the list of bugs/feature requests and prioritize them.
