i made an image in photoshop of somthing like 480 x 1000 and i want my guy to fallow down the "road". if i didnt make this vary clear tell me and ill try to restate it. THanks!
also keep in mind Power of 2. even though your image is 480 * 1000 the iPhone upscales it to 512 * 1028. It'll look the same, it just wastes memory though. Won't matter too much, but if you do that with ALOT of images it may affect performance. There's a wiki on it.
I can't stress enough how important JGary's point about images is.
Indeed, I found out just yesterday that you can make an image 256x256 and then scale it in your scene to cover the area (useful for stars etc). This saves a bunch of memory.
Yesterday my game was crashing on the second level. Now you can play up to six levels in one go without crashes - all thanks to good memory management via the images.

To have a camera follow you, first click into the actor editor of the actor you want the camera to follow.
place the "control attribute" behavior in the actor.
go back to the scene editor, and in the inspector, click scene and then attributes.
where it says camera, click it and click tracking area.
to start, make it like 60 for both width and height, but its completely up to you. you can also edit gravity here also.
hoped i helped a bit.
