I like that it will be 1024x768 which means no changes needed for GS. I have an iPad 2 and apparently it is the same chip so I'm hoping for testing that if it works on iPad2 it will work on the mini, but I bet there will be some performance differences.
@Crestwood I agree with both points. Love that its the same resolution as the iPad 1 and 2! They could have really taken the market with a little more competitive pricing, I wonder how that price will hold up.
Glad to see our apps will work without any changes on our part (or from GS). Wish they would have priced it a $299, but I'm sure it will still be a big seller this Christmas, which will hopefully result in more revenue for us!
Lol. I just bought an IPad 3 on Sunday. Hopefully Target will take it back. The pricing on the iPad 4 makes no sense. They should have put a premium on it, like $50 extra. But now anyone who bought one in the last 30 days will just return it. Plus, there is a ton of IPad 3 stock but due to the pricing of iPad 4 they will have to reduce the price of the IPad 3 just 7 months after it came out. There are going to be a lot of upset people.
I think it looks pretty sweet. I second the fact that the price seems a bit high but it is Apple and I am sure it will sell by the truckloads regardless.

yea, it's a huge win for us that everything should run exactly the same as on an iPad 2. I'm thinking of picking one up for testing purposes, but I'm thinking a MS Surface might be a better investment since it's a new market.
