Do Promo Codes COunt?

Hey guys, on your sales, do Promo Codes count? I gave some away last night but do they show up when you hit sales and trends or is that just how many people have purchased your app? Thank you

    Nope, the reviews do now but they don't count towards download numbers.

    Now that I'm looking, I think they do count. I click Sales and Trends and I see 8. I click on sales and it says 5 downloaded and they weren't payed and then 3 downloaded and they were paid.

    It doesn't count towards the chart position.

    I actually think this is something else apple goes back and forth on. I have see my ranking change for the positive after dumping 50 codes on TA before but I have not done that I a long time. I dont think you could leave reviews on promo downloads at that time either. So you never know for sure but don't be that guy that has 50 itunes accounts so you can download all 50 codes trying to boost your rankings. More than likely it will backfire on in some way.

    I'm not that guy lol My friends though are having problems with rating it. Some of them have Promo Codes and it lets them rate it and for some of them it doesn't. Also some people have bought it and it doesn't let them rate it.
