Expression modification won't work -> Invalid Expression message

If I create a expression into the Display text actor, I get a Invalid Expression message.
But if I use the expression editor, it work every time.

The expression is exactly the same in both.

    You have to press the little arrow button to the right of the text field.

    Yes AOZ I have to press the little arrow, how did you know? I wish I could type in directly without pressing the arrow.

    Can you take a screen capture of what you have in the box?
