i need to know about the types of accounts and their benefits.
For publishing a game on iphone do we need an account..?

    You need a Developer Account from Apple in order to publish to the App Store. That's $99 a year. GameSalad is free, but there is a Pro option for $500 a year that gives you some extra perks like Game Center, in app links, and personalized splash screens.
