does it really cost $99

does it cost 99 dollars or is there a way around that? I tryed submiting my app and it said i do not have a correct account to submit my app.

    Yes, you need the $99 Apple developer account to publish iOS games to the App Store. The only alternative might publishing games for jailbreak users that bypass the App Store.

    You have to have an Apple Developer Account to submit anything to the app store. No way around it.

    not free, but it's actually a lot cheaper than other ways of promoting / selling software that were used in the dark ages. ;-)
