Yes, i am pretty sure. Jailbreaking is basically just putting cydia and stuff on your ipod to download illegal things and to have access to things you didnt have access to before. DL

Yes you can still develop with a jail broken phone and honestly it was never Legally illegal. it was just illegal in Apples eyes. Then a judge clarified that for apple.
But jail breaking does also give access to illegal copies of apps which is a bad thing. It is unfortunate Apple will not allow more of the cydia utilities/mods to reach the app store instead. There are some very cool things that can be done with these amazing little devices.
Jail breaking does technically void your warranty if Apple knows or finds out about it. So choose your path wisely.
u can always return it into its original state if done correctly i did it 3 months ago and currently my ipad, ipod and iphone are all jail broken AND i use them for development
