Why isn't gamesalad in the Mac App store? It seems it would get a LOT of attention there. Was it rejected? or has gamesalad just not tried submitting?

That's a minor issue. It could simply be called version 1.0. GameSalad is not really in a beta, not when it's $499 a year for Professional. Also, GameSalad has been beta for years now. That's not a beta. That's just pretty nomenclature for bugs.

Yeah I totally agree.

With the number of times it crashes or requires a restart it's a beta no matter what you call it.
