Mac App Store has Flash based games!

Having a wander around the mac app store and downloaded GoldStrike as it is high on the charts of free games, very surprised to find it is a flash game and is basically using a packaged version of the mac flash player. Is this old news or quite a surprise? I know Apple relaxed the rules about flash and the app store but I had no idea flash was going to get into the MAS so quick!
