    Only available on jailbroken devices :-(

    There's two, I was searching the same as you.

    One is called displayscreen and the other one I think is capture screen.

    Not got them myself, not made the jump to jail break yet

    There is also the one called screenSplitR. Thats the one i use, and it works just fine.

    but nothing avalible for non-jailbreak devices? if not what are people using to make trailer style videos for their games?

    When developing for Corona, I use iSimulate so you can screen record accelerometer and touches, etc.
