promo codes and ranks

has anybody noticed that promo codes no longer seem to be counted in ranking? I'm not 100% sure but I don't think my apps promo downloads are counting.

    That's what I thought and I know they have in the past. But, I know at least 10 have been used and the app isn't back in the USA top 400 for racing, the other day 4 sales had it in the top 200.

    I have a game in racing and it had 7 DLs on friday according to appfigures. At that time 7 paid DLs barely got me into the top 400.

    ah right, guess it can vary so much then. ill wait for tomorrows figures and see!

    After getting my sales results for yesterday, and reading up on forums on the internet, Im don't think promo code downloaded games are counting in ranking anymore. Apparently its because people would set their games to $499 then give out the codes, due to the cost of the app it was making them appear in the highest grossing lists. Apple seem to have had enough and have cut promo codes counting in any ranks now!
