Gamesalad apps don't power down iPhone

Is there something missing? All the Gamesalad apps I've bought do not automatically power down like other apps.

    I think that is a good thing... but it could be made optional.

    It does everything else, I get phonecalls, low battery and mms messages appearing over the top etc.

    Agreed optional would be a good thing.

    I'm talking about the Auto Lock setting on the iPhone which I have set to 1 minute. When the screen is not interacted with for the period you set, it powers down and into Lock mode, after dimming for a few seconds first. This is a power saving mode.

    I first noticed this when I was playing Oh Nuts and stuck the phone in my pocket. after a few minutes I noticed it was getting warm and found it had not powered down. I started checking other Gamesalad games and noticed non of them powered down either. All other app power down fine.

    Is nobody else having this issue? I'm on the iPhone 3Gs
