Is there a type of program or code i punch in the iphone to show me what software it is on? i just bought an iphone and waiting for my sim to come but i wanna see what software its on ,

My iphone is currently stuck inn slide for emergency mode does anyone know how I can find the. Software version out before I activate it, I can't activate it because I tried cutting my sim didn't work so I bought one online and may take a while to come
