"Ensure that you have the latest iPhone SDK installed..."

Alright, so I'm going through the process of publishing my app. I downloaded the newest version of XCODE before starting the process. Go all of my certificates and profiles downloaded, so all is well there. Now, when I go to sign the app, it opens the GAMESALAD desktop app and pops a message that says the following:

"CODE SIGNING TOOL ERROR

iPhone publishing requires the iPhone SDK. Ensure that you have the latest iPhone SDK installed."

I was under the impression that the iPhone SDK would be included when I downloaded XCODE, but I guess not? Or am I just missing something?

I’m glad I’m not the only one. Hopefully it’s an easy fix so I can get on to testing!

Alrighty, I think I got it figured out. For me, XCODE never left the downloads folder. As soon as I dragged it into the applications folder, it started working properly (albeit giving me a different kind of error). Check that out and see if it works for you!

    @adent42 @Armelline

I've got my app into the loader and tried uploading to iTunes Connect and am getting a new error

ERROR ITMS-90725: "SDK Version Issue. This app was built with the iOS 14.5 SDK. All iOS apps submitted to the App Store must be built with the iOS 15 SDK or later, included in Xcode 13 or later."

I have XCODE 13.31 downloaded, the newest version of Transporter, and am using the Web Creator. Any ideas?

EDIT: I went digging into the files and found the iPhoneOS directory and it says the SDK that is installed is 15.4

I’m at my wits end. I uninstalled Gamesalad and Xcode, doing a fresh install on both. Redid all of my certificates and profiles yet I’m still getting the ITMS-90725 error when trying to upload to iTunes Connect. Xcode is up to date as well as the iOS SDK 15.4. Could really use some help here!

Is the error red or yellow? And are you using the Generate button or the RC button?

This error was coming up for me but then went away again. I presumed it was a GS issue.

Red error and using generate. Should I be using RC?

Yep, still getting the error today as well. Really frustrating!

I asked around on Reddit for any solutions since replies here are far and few between and one user posted this.

"This is likely the issue. 13.3.1 fixes a couple issues with submission when BitCode is active.

Fixed: Exporting an app that uses Swift’s concurrency features from an archive with bitcode might fail when the app targets iOS 13.0–14.7, watchOS 6.0–7.6, or tvOS 13.0–14.7. (89271047)

When you target iOS 13.4 and later and enable bitcode, the bitcode segment is now stripped correctly. This fixes a crash that prevented some apps from running in older operating systems (iOS 14 and earlier). (90024354) (FB9951126)"

Maybe the issue has to be with BitCode and Gamesalad? @adent42

I messaged GS support and they said it's a publishing issue that they should have fixed very soon!!

A timeframe would be nice, but great to see that the issue is being promptly dealt with!

Well they told me either by the end of the day or the end of the week. I tried today and still failed delivery. is it really only us 3 having this issue? haha

This is a publish issue and it's for all the users, we need to wait for an update from the team.

It will be posted as a yellow msg when it's done.

It's not, we got pulled into another project and slipped on the deadline for this. We're shooting for end of week. To get this out to you ASAP, we'll have an abbreviated testing schedule, so please be sure to test your app when we release.

We'll let you know as part of a RC announcement.

FYI, we've got a RC in QA now and hope to release it to you tomorrow. Had to work out some issues in the code and iOS takes forever to build. This build won't have GameAnalytics (to speed things up), but will have Pollfish and updates ad network libraries.

If I read the docs correctly, this will also correct the iPad ITMS warning as well.

To get this out to you more quickly, I'm gonna release tomorrow with limited testing. I think the build is pretty safe, but, as always, you should test your games before uploading them.
