download game project

I had to reformat my hard disk. When i tried to get my project files from the iphone portfolio they download and pop up as chess games. how can I open them in gamesalad?

    Rename them .zip upon download (instead of .gameproj) and then double-click them to extract the "uploadXX.gameproj" file that you can then edit in GS.

    I just tried that, all the actors are now image missing and while preview still can play all the actions are blank accelerates.
