I wanted to have music play across my many scenes but I was wondering if I could make an on/off switch to turn that music off if the user decided so. So music plays across 14 scenes, on/off switch?
Isn't there a "Stop Sound" behavior or is it buggy? It appears to be working in my current project where I start the background music fresh on each level and then stop it upon completion or full death.
TSB's method would keep your peformance consistent with the sound always playing even when muted but if you stop the sound, you may get a small performance boost with the device not having to stream music in the background, no?
Control Music Audio in the Attribute Browser under: Devices -- Audio -- Volume Then set the Audio from 0 to 1
It is also located in the Game -- Devices list in your inspector under Audio. This setting is the default at start...Use the Attribute Controller during the game.
Fire maple made a good volume slider demo... Search "Volume Slider" in the shared projects to find it!
