Downloading game salad viewer with ipod

We are pretty novice at this whole process. I am trying to download game salad viewer on my son's ipod and it is stating "Download failed" "Safari cannot download this file." Can you help?

    You are not supposed to download it on your device. You download it on your mac. open it up in xcode. Put in your provisioning file info and your code sign. Then using xcode release it to your device. There is a tutorial on the cookbook and on gshelper.com
